Christina-isms: Part 2!
- If you do it half-assed, all you'll be left with is an extra ass!
- [To new recruit that's in the middle of holding the squat position] So, what are you having for lunch today?
- Why are we waiting for you? I'm here! I'm ready! And I don't even pay me!
- I'm a control freak! Stay behind me!
- I LOVE straight lines!
- Push-ups on your knees are not girly push-ups, they are sissy push-ups!
- There are no friends at Boot Camp. I don't have any friends. We're not friends!
- I'm giving you the tools to live a long life without a hip replacement. I will not pray for you if you need one later in life. I only pray for poor Gertrude, because, bless her heart, she didn't know any better.
- [During arm circles] We're all wearing strapless gowns to the ball. But go ahead and bring a shawl for your friend and place it across their chair when she goes up to the buffet line for the second time.
- Promiscuous stance, ladies! Boobies out, butt out! I've never had to pay for a drink in my life! And I'm talking top shelf margaritas, not the cheap stuff.
- OTSS: Original Tramp Stamp Status. I want those tattoos looking exactly the way they did when you got them at age 18.
- Why would you quit with only 10 seconds left? Go faster! Don't tell me you want it. Show me!
- [During crab walks and triceps dips] You created that monster. Now you need to lift it!
- This first run is slow. So slow, in fact, that it hurts me to run this slow. If you cannot keep up, it is a true testament to the damage you've done to your body over time. Don't worry--we'll get you up to speed.
- Quit quitting!
- There can only be one first. Scream it! Say it loud!
- Go home and introduce yourself to the new you. Be proud of the changes you're making!
- [At the end of a session] I like you more than I did 4 weeks ago.
- I want to help you, but I will never feel sorry for you.
- What can I say? It's in my nature.
Love love love theses! They make boot camp so much more fun ;) I think #9 might be my favorite! The first time I heard it I almost died lol!!!

I remember in my first session when she said the run was painfully slow, I thought I was going to die because I could hardly keep up, and now I'm shooting to be the First person out there! Now its a true testament to what I have done to fix my body and I have been brought up to speed ;)
ReplyDeleteI love #11 because it's my life-long goal to keep the tramp stamp looking as fabulous as the day it was inked and the first time I heard Christina say this I laughed so hard I couldn't hold my super hero.

ReplyDeleteI have never heard #9, but I squirted water out of my nose as I read it. lol! That's got to be my favorite!

DeleteOk, these may scare a rookie, but it just pumps me up!! And makes me giggle too.. :) all of them are so GREAT!
